Pupils try out council work

YOUNGSTERS in West Lothian have been getting their first taste of the working life this week as part of a special programme at the local council.

The annual Kidz N2 Work week saw local authority employees bring along their children to discover how the council works and learn more about the services it delivers.

Among the duties for the primary seven to second year pupils was running the reception and mail room at the Civic Centre.
