Office e-mails on holiday time

BRITONS are failing to switch off from work while away, with increasing numbers checking office e-mails, a survey shows.

Up to 48 per cent of workers check e-mails on holiday compared with 38 per cent last year, the poll by the TripAdvisor company revealed.

Of those who cannot tear themselves away from computers and mobiles while on trips, 57 per cent said they checked e-mails to reduce their workload upon returning.
